Artificial intelligence is reshaping every industry, and venture capital is no exception. We can now do in minutes what used to take days, and machines largely do it for us. This seismic shift has catalyzed us at Shine to rethink how we work so we can best meet the moment.

Our belief is simple: as AI automates cognitive labor, today’s most promising builders lean into individual agency, creativity, and judgment, all paired with unique insights. These insights come from being native to new technologies and in constant dialogue with peers.

We want to build the future together with the brightest minds. Shine Luminaries is our approach to collaborating with young builders as investors.

Luminaries provide Shine with insight into fresh ideas, facilitate relationships with emerging talent, and build new AI tooling to help scale these efforts.

In return, Shine offers unprecedented access to investor thinking and our collective networks, as well as visibility into the full venture investment process. We provide a stipend and share economics with Luminaries for investments they source.

Luminaries work with Shine as they build their own companies or projects. This apprenticeship gives builders a lateral perspective of the market and access to our resources as they pursue their individual passions and build in the trenches.

This program is dynamic – the world is changing fast, and we will change with it. We will evolve the program to meet Luminaries' needs while creating value for Shine.
